Fire Damage

When a fire occurs in your home it can be devastating to you and your family. Our team will be there to help you every step of the way. We begin with board up service, we work with your insurance company, and finish by moving you back in to your home.

The first step after a fire is to contact your home owner’s insurance company so they can send us out to secure your home and protect it from getting damaged any further. After the fire department has extinguished the fire we will need to board up any broken windows and make sure that the home can be locked up securely. We will pack up all of the contents that are salvageable so we can bring them back to our facility to treat them in an attempt to remove the soot and smoke smell that may be present.

Smoke causes most of the damage in a fire. While your entire house may not have been on fire the smoke will surely spread throughout. Our trained technicians will do every thing possible to make sure that your clothes, pictures, furniture, and all other personal belongings are properly cleaned and deodorized. Your home will also have severe smoke damage. We will remove all compromised material and clean, deodorize, and seal the rest of the house to get it ready for repair.

Mold Remediation

Mold grows when moisture is trapped in your house. Mycotoxins, produced by molds, are thought to contribute to the irritations and illnesses associated with exposure to mold. Years of scientific studies show mold needs to be removed or prevented from growing in our homes and businesses or we may be adversely affected. When mold is found in your home be sure to work with an Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) certified mold remediator.

RJM Contractors, Inc. is a leader in mold remediation who treats the whole problem. First we locate the cause, and then we isolate the infected areas. Isolating the infected area will keep mold spores from spreading to non-infected areas during the remediation process. RJM is successful in performing complicated remediations which require setting up negative air pressure, total containment chambers, HEPA-Filtered air exchange systems and full bodied protective gear for our technicians. These control the spread of mycotoxins and mold spores, and minimize the disruption to your home. Once the mold has been contained it will be necessary for us to remove the infected material from your home. Removal may include drywall, insulation, carpet, air conditioning ducts etc. When all of the mold has been removed the areas are treated with chemicals in order to keep mold from growing back.

Water Damage

Water intrusion can occur when pipes burst, toilets over flow, and with severe weather. When this occurs you need to act quickly. First call your home owner’s insurance company. They will need to get a claim started so that your loss will be covered by your insurance policy. They will assist you in getting the process started. Next you need to contact a company like RJM Contractors who uses the latest technology, and methods to get your home dry and contain the damage.

When your house is flooded getting it dried out is the most important step in containing the damage. RJM contractors use powerful dehumidifiers that can remove moisture from your walls, paint, and even the concrete floor under your carpet. Combining this with the use of our strong air movers, and the removal of soaked items such as carpet and carpet padding we will have your home dried extremely fast. We also apply a powerful anti-microbial agent to ensure that mold does not grow in this damp environment. Once the house has been dried out the process of restoring the home can begin.

After the damage has been contained we will start the process of rebuilding your home. We take great pride in giving your home back to you as nice as or better than it was. We achieve this goal by working closely with you to choose flooring, paint colors, cabinets etc. Once the rebuilding process is complete our team will help you move all of your contents back in to your home, and make sure that you are totally satisfied.
