RJM remodeled a 1980 ranch style house and turned it into our dream home. All their employees are very hard working and caring. Being a family run business they take pride in their work. Construction takes time so if you are patient and want quality work, I would highly recommend them.

We were dealing with a build back through our Insurance Company and they knew exactly what they would approve so there was no back and forth. We added in some renovations of our own and the work was done well. My 2nd floor A/C leaked and required expert work to renovate, but also make sure that no moisture would remain. Richard is a very conscious and detailed contractor with an excellent crew who managed every detail of the process from the removal, remediation and finally the renovation. I had a leak in my bathroom that required repairs and the dated feel just needed to go. I had the shower molding removed and tiled in instead with beautiful new glass sliding doors, new toilet (source of the leak) and I new vanity. RJM balanced necessity vs luxury, what needed to be replaced vs functionality still sound and have me options for both and allowed me to get the best of both without breaking the bank. It gave me what I wanted and could afford. I love the transformation of my bathroom from a dated 80s cheap composite brown mess to the beautiful day spa feel it has now. My family has used RJM for many years.

When my husband and I bought a very small apartment size condo in Bradenton, Florida, we knew we would have a daunting task of renovating the 40 year old kitchen and 2 baths. The kitchen actually had wooden counters! Rather then spreading the work out over several months, we decided to have all the work done at one time. This meant we were faced with half of the condo being being under construction at the same time, and wouldn’t be able to live there during this process. so we needed a contractor that we were sure was trustworthy and would do an excellent job. After interviewing about five contractors and searching on-line we met and hired Rick Parcels owner of RJM Contractors. He worked with us to come up with a plan that we could afford and that met all our needs as far as storage and design. His work was done on time and he e-mailed us with his progress and took pictures as he went along. As problems arouse with granite suppliers and the structure of a 40 year old building, he was on top of it. When inspecting the finished project I was pleased to see every corner mitered perfectly and my counters were level. Rick was easy to work with and definitely knows his job well. He anticipated problems we hadn’t even thought of. My husband and I would definitely hire him again and would gladly refer him to family and friends.
